The Portfolio Management Technology team is looking for a talented technologist to develop software and solutions for our cloud-based risk management platform, Advanced Collateral Management System (ACMS). The team is in the process of building ultra-low latency, high volume, and reliable next generation cloud-based platform. When it is completed, the applications should support processing several billions of inquiry transactions during market hours. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly visible team that delivers innovative business solutions leveraging emerging technologies at Schwab. You will be working with a team of talented technologists and SMEs who bring a lot of energy, focus and fresh ideas that support our mission to provide value by seeing the world "Through Clients' Eyes".

What You Are Good At
- Designing, documenting, and testing software
- Reviewing code to detect and remove bugs
- Participating in Agile and/or Scrum projects
- Working collaboratively with others to solve challenging problems
- Making a positive influence on your team members and peers
What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Demonstrated ability to code in in C# (.NET, .NET Core) (1+ years)
- Basic understanding of object-oriented analysis and design
- Knowledge of software development best practices and processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Analytical problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Basic written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
