In Schwab Cybersecurity Services (SCS), we provide a coordinated risk management strategy that supports the delivery of consistent and secure financial and operational performance to produce successful client and shareholder outcomes. The Standard Governance Office (SGO) is responsible for the development and maintenance of Charles Schwab's Policies and Standards, providing the foundation of SCS cyber security programs.

In the Senior Manager, Technology Risk Management Senior position, you will be part of a highly engaged team dedicated to enhancing Schwab's Technology Governance and Risk Management environment.

What you have

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years overall progressive experience in technology operations, risk management, technical writing and/or document management
  • Knowledge of risk control frameworks such as NIST, ISO as well as regulatory and industry requirements such as GLBA, PCI, FFIEC
  • Experience or general understanding in technology development or operations
  • Proven ability to think strategically and drive toward strategic objectives and outcomes
  • Possess strong writing and verbal communication skills to work effectively with partners at all levels and across functional lines, bringing diverse points of view together to determine a clear direction forward
  • Track record meeting critical commitments and deliverables under pressure in a fast-paced compliance and regulated driven environment
  • Proven ability to lead through complicated issues and arbitrate across disparate partner groups
  • Experience pulling metrics and status reporting to help drive and influence decisions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Expert using Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Passionate about simplifying complex domains
