The goal of Operational Services, within Plan Administration & Implementation (PAI), is to meet the needs of Retirement Plan Services by providing the best client service possible as it relates to the recordkeeping aspects of Defined Contribution Retirement Plans. Specifically, a Senior Specialist within PAI is responsible for managing relationships with plan sponsors and internal business partners while ensuring absolute compliance with all regulations and requirements of ERISA Law.

What You'll Do
As a Senior Specialist, you will have a unique opportunity to define the service that will be delivered to both the participant and plan sponsor. You will be expected to manage 100+ client relationships and serve as a subject matter expert in retirement plan loan processing and maintenance while providing consultative services to our plan sponsors. You will also be responsible for multiple operational processes within the group that include responding to client emails and internal partner inquiries, maintaining quality control and procedures, creating process improvements, mitigating risk to meet key deliverables, training newer team members, and exceeding client expectations. Flexibility and extreme attention to detail, initiative in researching tasks, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to meet multiple competing deadlines is vital to success in this position. The successful candidate must have superior analytical skills, processing experience/knowledge of SRi is preferred, extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and Word, as well as the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with various departments to ensure that daily client deliverables are met.
What you have

Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Qualified Retirement Plan Administration.
- 2+ years of loan administration experience including coordinating with payroll providers to ensure loans remain in compliance with IRC 72(p).
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance to resolve complex loan administrative issues for highly sensitive clients using strong relationships and communication skills to manage higher level cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting conversions by accurately identifying issues on PRK files, proposing solutions, and actively engaging in discussions with plan sponsors, PRKs, Conversion Managers on best practices to resolve loan issues timely.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including comfortability with presenting to prospective and existing clients and internal departments.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor peers while influencing others with reasoned debate and dialogue through individual and team based training.
- Maintain quality control and procedures and create process improvements to meet key deliverables and exceed participant and plan sponsor expectation, evidenced through direct feedback and CPS scores.
- Creative thought process with a proven track record of continuous process improvement ideas directly impacting the participant and client loan experience.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, knowing how and when to call on other resources.
- Outstanding time management skills, acute attention to detail, including exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
- Extensive knowledge in SRI, CMS, payroll files specs, Inbound/Outbound loan files, including ad hoc loan reporting.
- Track record of excelling in a team-based culture, evidenced through direct feedback from peers and business partners.
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASPPA designation (QKA, QPA).
