Our Event Management Team objective is to build and strengthen relationships by coordinating high quality and engaging education events for participants, sponsors, and consultants. We support Workplace Financial Services by providing logistical consulting to the participant experience, preparing templated content solutions, and providing technical expertise for virtual delivery.
As an Education Event Manager, you will coordinate high quality digital and onsite education events for plan participants, encompassing both retirement plans, equity compensation plans, and related services.
- Serve as the point-person to coordinate employee workshop events
- Consult business partners and clients on the planning process and logistics related to the event
- Assist service team members (RM's/CC's) in supporting client needs and requests by finding creative and scalable solutions
- Engage internal teams and resources to address specific education needs
- Assign resources, gather materials, and coordinate with both clients and internal partners
- Ensure the quality and on-time completion of all necessary event deliverables
- Provide technical and production support for digital events
- Provide support in preparing and maintaining internal control documents required for workshop metrics and reporting
- Additional duties as needed
What you have
To ensure that we have fulfilled our promise of 'challenging the status quo,' this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years experience in retirement plan and/or equity compensation plan services field
- 3-5 years experience in project management and/or direct client support
- Demonstrated effective project management skills
- Proven ability to influence others and inspire action
- Collaborative with proven ability to develop internal and external partnerships
- Articulate communicator with good listening skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to multi-task
- Able to work independently and make appropriate decisions to ensure positive outcomes
- Able to handle deadline pressure, drive projects to completion, and keep people informed
- Committed focus to produce high quality work
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with workflow/project management and/or virtual webcast applications a plus
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
