The Enhanced Client Verification Team is looking for a Sr Software Engineer with extensive experience with application development in Java and UI development in Angular to work within a dynamic Agile Scrum Team to design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance Java based web services that support business critical integration projects. The role will require a strong work ethic, problem solving skills and the ability to partner with business and technologists across the organization. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully building and supporting enterprise web applications. The role will require a high level of responsibility and accountability yet has a support structure necessary for development growth.

What you have

Required Qualifications:

- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field

- 10+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java and related frameworks

- 5+ years of experience working with Angular to build dynamic, responsive web applications.
- 10+ years of experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and front-end/back-end integration

- 5+ years of experience with writing Splunk queries and developing monitoring Dashboards within Splunk
- 5+ years of experience working with Mongo and SQL Databases

- 3+ years of experience working with RabbitMQ and Kafka event streaming platforms

Preferred Qualifications:

- In-Depth experience with TDD practices and writing integration tests in Cucumber

- In-Depth knowledge in modern software development practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and test automation

- Experience in an Agile tools and methodologies and tools (JIRA)

- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of ownership, and self-motivated with a passion for resolving technical problems

- Strong leadership skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills across team boundaries
