The Digital Rep Solutions organization focuses on designing, building, and supporting exceptional experiences and platforms used by Charles Schwab representatives to establish, grow and solidify relationships with our clients. Through a combination of innovation, problem solving, research, design, and experimentation, we support the needs and ambitions of a wide range of internal stakeholders including sales, service, strategy, marketing, and technology.

The Senior Product Manager role will be part of the Digital Rep Solutions Sales Desktop program, which consists of several development teams innovating on strategic rep enabling solutions in Salesforce, through a differentiated working model that is focused on speed, agility, and user experience.

At Schwab, Product Managers help build and evolve industry leading products and platforms. In this role you will engage in the entire product lifecycle with ownership for defining, planning, delivering, and supporting new and existing features and capabilities. The ideal candidate communicates effectively with various stakeholders across business and technology and thrives on being the voice of the client. They fully own their backlogs, including defining roadmaps, releases, dependencies, and clearing blockers that might impact delivery or production performance. Most importantly, our ideal candidate is a team player that delivers quality, high-value products and has fun while doing it!

What you will do

  • Understand and articulate client pain points and define the right solutions.
  • Utilize critical insights from Product Management research to develop value propositions and business cases.
  • Partner with user experience designers and technology peers to design and solution value-based products
  • Build release plans and feature roadmaps aligned to strategic goals and organizational priorities while effectively managing stakeholder tradeoffs.
  • Participate in quarterly PI planning by clearly articulating your teams plan, risks and dependencies
  • Lead one or more Scrum teams through managing the product backlog, including writing and grooming Epics and User stories and prioritizing the backlog
  • Participating in Scrum ceremonies and signing off on product development prior to delivery
  • Partner with rep enablement teams to define training, pilot and rollout strategies best suited for your product.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, including taking in new intake requests and enhancements.
  • Continuously integrate feedback from metrics, clients, stakeholders and customers into recommendations for improving delivery and evolving our operating models and agile frameworks.

What you have

  • Experience leading discussions and interacting with senior stakeholders, user experience teams, and engineers
  • A track record of successfully owning, planning, defining, and delivering an annual roadmap
  • Proven experience with Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban, Design Thinking practices, and strong knowledge Product Management principles
  • Successful history of partnering with key business and delivery stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills; from storytelling to simplifying complex technical topics
  • Effective relationship builder--ability to partner cross-functionally, cross-enterprise and work effectively with various levels of the organization as well as various personality types
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, deep curiosity, and focused execution to drive strategic vision
  • Salesforce and Financial Services experience highly preferred
