The Charles Schwab's Digital Retail product team builds key experiences for retail clients and maintains digital platforms for them to build wealth and manage their financial outcomes. The Assistants (agents) and Search team is responsible for defining, delivering, and managing numerous capabilities. We focus on augmenting navigation, providing information to clients and provide efficient action experience workflows for top jobs to be done.
This role requires an Individual who excels at organization and details. The right candidate Is one and who Is able to consistently look at the larger picture and guide stakeholders to success. It will require a high level of attention paid to day-to-day tasks yet also retain focus on the result. The right person will communicate with ease across many channels and have an ability to multitask, juggle priorities, and in many cases, adhere to strict deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitating user interviews and other market research
- Overseeing quality assurance checks on new features
- Analyzing data to help product management make better-informed decisions
- Developing business processes to streamline product development
- Managing tools (for roadmapping, prototyping, etc.) that the product team uses
- Consult and build program wide release notes
- Identify opportunities for improvement through client feedback analysis
- Champion alliances and partnerships across all stakeholders
- Create, update and maintain team documentation repository
- Help plan and facilitate planning
What you care about
- Own the communication and coordination needed to support these activities with internal partners across various departments and roles, including Retail, Technology, Compliance, Security as well as multiple vendors and vendor resources, ensuring system resiliency and adherence to all policies and procedures, best practices, and Product Management and end-user requirements and expectations
- Development, optimization, and maintenance of BAU procedures that ensure timely updates, system performance, and availability, including appropriate documentation in accordance with applicable procedures and best practices
- Communicate status, issues, and noteworthy events to Digital leadership, ensuring appropriate visibility and understanding
- Formulate, contribute to, and evolve the conversational AI vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Be a conversational AI thought leader, ensuring past, present, and future operational considerations are represented in planning and execution activities
- Lead the generation of new ideas based on varied sources, including transcript review, testing, market analytics, and interactions with stakeholders, clients, and prospects
- Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders and third-party entities
- Champion Agile methodologies and support team members in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, backlog prioritization, user story preparation, and demos as needed
- Work cross-functionally with technical, design, business, and compliance counterparts to define product release requirements and investigate production issues as they arise
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the teams standard operating procedures including system diagrams, sequence diagrams in partnership with tech
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years digital product management experience
- Documented experience with conversational AI, chatbots, voice bots, or machine learning-driven digital products
- Ability to find natural language copy deck improvement opportunities in the financial services industry
- Flexible thinker able to transition from tactical to strategic considerations, with the ability to formulate compelling vision and strategy and translate that to actionable roadmaps and results that account for day-to-day considerations
- Strong knowledge base and experience developing or managing digital platforms, coupled with knowledge of the underlying technology, both current and emerging
- Ability to influence and build strong relationships across multiple levels of the organization
- Highly developed communication and presentations skills with a superior ability to effectively communicate and present complex concepts and issues to leadership teams
- Skilled at working cross-functionally with technology, service, marketing, and product teams to manage the entire lifecycle of a digital platform
- Experience in Agile development practices, scrum teams, and Product Owner/Manager responsibilities
- Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills and ability to track multiple project deliverables with minimal direction
- Confidence presenting and tailoring messaging to a variety of audiences, including senior leadership
