As a Senior Software Engineer in Retirement Plan Services Technology, you will be a technical leader for your development team. You will work with your fellow team members to consistently produce high-quality output by providing guidance and support for all facets of software delivery, including design, development, testing, deployment, tooling, and support. You will serve as a strong, versatile hands-on technical lead to deliver solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative, and rapidly changing environment.

More specifically, in this role you will:

  • Assist with design and development of software applications that support retirement plan administration
  • Participate on an agile team of developers, testers, product owners, and scrum masters
  • Participate in discussions and engage with other team members to define system requirements
  • Design and build automated tests
  • Release applications to production environments on a regular basis
  • Provide production application support for applications that require 99% uptime

What you have

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 10+ years of .NET design and development experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in object-oriented design, Microsoft SQL Server, SOAP and REST web services, CI/CD
  • A strong knowledge of, and demonstrated expertise in, software design, development, testing, maintenance, and support
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to build rapport with and influence team members, peers, and partners
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly articulating complex technical issues and solutions to peers and partners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Test Driven Development and automated test design
  • Atlassian suite of products (Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo) and GitHub
  • Angular JS, Spring Cloud, and microservices development
  • Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Public Cloud (GCP) architecture
  • Financial Services industry experience
