The AS Business Consulting & Education (BCE) team creates and delivers industry-leading consulting, benchmarking, thought leadership, and education programs that help advisors achieve their goals and gain competitive advantage. Its extensive offer includes the RIA Benchmarking Study, immersive multi-week consulting programs, the Schwab Executive Leadership Program and more. The key to the team's success lies in its ability to create highly relevant and scalable programs that turn practice management insights into actionable plans that advisors can implement in their firms. These programs are delivered by a nationwide team of experienced consultants who work closely with advisors to understand the firm's challenges and areas of opportunity, and then map a path forward.
As a key contributor of the Schwab Advisor Services BCE organization the Senior Manager is responsible for playing a hands-on strategic and tactical ownership role in (1) Defining, developing/creating, and enhancing consulting programs-including in-depth, action-oriented content, tools, and resources. (2) Executing day-to-day responsibilities including, but not limited to managing program content, coordinating, delivering, and/or moderating key advisor BCE experiences (e.g., forums, events, cohorts, social) and working with BCE partners and leaders to ensure successful execution of the overall program.

What you have
The ideal candidate will possess the following capabilities:
- 7-10 years in a program management and/or content development role
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- The ability to translate complex and varied inputs including market data, client and executive insights, and broad industry research into compelling stories and actionable programs of the highest quality
- Very strong content creation, written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to research, synthesize data, develop recommendations, influence partners, and report on status
- A 'can-do', results-oriented approach to business
- A high degree of detail orientation and strong project management skills
- A bias for action and the ability to overcome obstacles and successfully execute on multiple projects simultaneously
- The ability to understand audience needs and create high-impact action-oriented content and resources based on those needs
- The ability to understand dependencies and anticipate downstream consequences
- Very strong PowerPoint skills
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- A proven ability to work in a fast paced, iterative, and matrixed environment
- A desire to be part of a team that celebrates and advocates for each other
- Preferred but not required: Marketing agency asset/content creation and development experience
- Preferred but not required: Experience serving the financial services industry, an understanding of practice management and consulting
