Schwab Advisor Services, a division of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. is the leading provider of custody, trading, technology, and practice management to registered investment advisors (RIAs). Schwab Advisor Services serves over 15,000 independent advisory firms who custody over $4 trillion of assets with Schwab.

This individual will be a part of the Offer Development, Delivery and Analytics department within Advisor Services. Specific to the analytics function, the department delivers data-driven insights and enables accountability through the tracking and reporting of key metrics.

The Senior Manager, Analytics Consultant is responsible for leading analytical projects for relationship management and business development stakeholders. We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, highly analytical and has exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Leverage strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving to deliver data-driven recommendations and solutions
  • Manage a dynamic workload, including multiple deliverables while maintaining alignment on strategic priorities
  • Establish a trusted partnership with colleagues and stakeholders

What you have

Required Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Expert user of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Strong cross-functional working relationships with leadership, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • 5+ years of experience with data management tools and coding languages (SQL, Python)

Preferred Competencies:

  • Advanced degree or MBA
  • 5+ years of experience with statistical tools (R, SAS)
  • 5+ years of experience with reporting and data visualization tools (Business Objects, Tableau)
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry and/or a B2B environment
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce.com
