Charles Schwab's Marketing organization manages the Schwab brand, develops impactful advertising that promotes our products & services and builds the marketing touch points and communications that our clients interact with across a variety of channels.
Data Driven Communications within Marketing provides our marketing and business partners with support in their acquisition and client engagement strategies by identifying events, triggers, alerts, and attributes that create opportunities for meaningful interactions. Our team utilizes Salesforce Marketing Cloud to deliver multi-touch and multi-channel communications to Schwab clients & prospects. To better serve our clients' needs and utilize our technology investments, we are seeking a Senior Campaign Manager.

The Senior Campaign Manager (individual contributor) will:
- Act as an internal consultant to our business partners and recommend appropriate solutions & communications from our portfolio of mature and developing platforms & integrations
- Program ad-hoc campaigns in Salesforce Marketing cloud, using custom SQL and Marketing Cloud's Automation Studio & Journey Builder to craft targeted audiences and segmentations
- Extend those skills to program and maintain automated communications, as well, with goals of efficiency and sustainability
- Create and maintain email assets, leveraging Marketing Cloud's proprietary AMPscript language, as well as HTML & CSS
- Develop and apply a deep and broad understanding of the underlying business & marketing objectives
- Research, analyze, and leverage data from a wide range of internal and external sources
- Redevelop legacy campaigns, streamlining and migrating them to Salesforce Marketing Cloud
What you have
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree required
- 5+ years of SQL programming experience
- 5+ years of work experience in a programming, analytical and/or consulting role
- 2+ years of AMPscript programming experience
- 2+ years of HTML/CSS experience
- Sharp organization skills, including familiarity with workflow management tools & best practices
- Instinctual attention to detail
- Strong oral & written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain poised and productive amidst shifting priorities and aggressive deadlines
- Demonstrated success as a thought partner and as a champion/leader of new ideas
- Problem solver and out-of-the-box thinker who can effectively collaborate with technology, business, and creative partners
- Demonstrates advanced SQL knowledge/experience
- Practiced ability to interpret and leverage data structures
- Experience working within Salesforce Marketing Cloud creating data extensions, queries, automations & journeys
- Familiar with managing and contributing to shared knowledge bases for both internal and external team consumption (OneDrive, OneNote, Confluence)
- Experience developing re-usable objects in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, leveraged efficiently across email assets
- Familiarity with legal/compliance requirements that inform email asset development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Financial services industry background
- Experience with Agile methodology and Jira
