Wealth and Asset Management (WAM) engineering is a fast-growing organization within Schwab Technology Services and aligned to support the technology needs of Schwab Asset Management (SAM), Wealth & Advice Solutions (WAS), and the Schwab Center for Financial Research (SCFR).
Position Summary:
This Senior Business Systems Analyst position within WAM Engineering reports to the Director of the Wealth & Investment Platform team. The business systems analyst will play an important role working with several scrum teams to build new services and capabilities to centralize data related to Schwab's Wealth Advisory business, as well as the modernization of the Schwab Wealth Advisory platform. You will be working with a team of talented technologists and SMEs who bring a lot of energy, focus and fresh ideas that support our mission to provide value by seeing the world "Through Clients' Eyes."

What you have
Required Qualifications:
- This role requires a highly motivated, organized, and experienced individual with strong technical and business analysis skills.
- A university degree from a well-respected academic institution; advanced coursework in information systems, computer science, and / or business administration are a plus
- Solid understanding of financial markets and services (Equity, Fixed Income, Wealth Management, Portfolio Management)
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in a financial services setting.
- Working knowledge of web services, data architecture, SQL, Postman, data structures and willingness to be 'hands on' with technical Agile teams
- Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum practices, ability to help organize and prioritize work.
- Ability to partner with Agile team members to generate requirement stories, UAT test scripts, release notes, and other project artifacts.
