This Salesforce Developer role will be an integral part of Salesforce CRM team in Wealth Asset Management Engineering (WAME) organization which is part of Schwab Technology Services (STS). WAME provides technology services to provide operating leverage and scale to support Schwab Asset Management, Financial Research and Wealth & Advice Solutions Management organizations across the broader Schwab organization.

CRM (Salesforce) team is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer who is passionate about Salesforce and building robust world-class CRM system. What you have

To ensure that we fulfill our promise of 'challenging the status quo,' this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in Schwab Asset Management business is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in building solutions using OTB Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud configuration capabilities and building custom solutions using programming languages like Apex, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, as well as platform-specific skills like Aura, LWC, SOQL and Visualforce.
  • 5+ years of experience using Agile methodologies.
  • Possess problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during Software Development process.
  • Excellent debugging skills to identify, track and solve code errors and bugs.
  • Experience working with Data Loader tool to migrate data.
  • Experience working with CI/CD tools like Copado to migrate and promote code through lower environments.
  • Developers should be committed to continuous learning and staying up to date with new features, technologies, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce certification(s), such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Platform Developer I & II strongly preferred.
  • 2-5 years of programming knowledge and experience in Object Oriented languages (Java or C#).
  • Ability to work independently and to effectively interact and collaborate with all types of stakeholders, both technical and business, peers, and management
  • Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions when tools don't work.
