The goal of Operational Services, within Plan Administration & Implementation (PAI), is to meet the needs of Retirement Plan Services by providing the best client service possible as it relates to the recordkeeping aspects of Defined Contribution Retirement Plans. Specifically, the Retirement Loan Consulting Manager within PAI is responsible for managing relationships with plan sponsors and internal business partners while ensuring absolute compliance with all regulations and requirements of ERISA Law. You are expected to be the subject matter expert in IRC 72(p) while providing consultative services to retirement plan sponsors.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Consult with plan sponsor directly to resolve loan delinquencies by developing actionable plans and seeing them through implementation and completion.
- Deliver timely and accurate responses to participant and plan sponsors requests by coordinating efforts with key business partners, participating in plan provision discussions, new plan and merger conversion meetings.
- Support new client onboarding efforts.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Qualified Retirement Plan Administration.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance to resolve complex issues for highly sensitive clients.
- Strong relationships and communication skills to manage higher level cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presenting to prospective and existing clients and internal departments.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor peers while influencing others.
- Ability to maintain quality control and create process improvements to meet key deliverables.
- Ability to exceed participant and plan sponsor expectation (Client Promotor Scores used as a metric).
- Ability to exercise good judgment. Knowing how and when to call on other resources.
- Time management skills, attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Extensive knowledge in payroll files specifications, inbound & outbound data files and ad hoc reporting.
- Ability to work in a team-based and colloaborative culture.
Preferred Qualifications
- American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) designation.
- Experience ensuring loans remain in compliance with IRC 72(p).
- Experience in supporting Qualiffed Retirement Plan conversions by accurately identifying prior issues and engaging in discussions with stakeholders on best practices to resolve loan issues.
