The Treasury team is a team within our Finance department. We are responsible for balance sheet management strategy, portfolio and brokered deposit notional investment allocation decisions, balance sheet modeling and analytics, market risk management, ALM derivatives, and net interest revenue forecasting. The overall team manages fixed-income investments in several portfolios totaling approximately $500 billion in balance sheet assets and approximately $100 billion in off-balance-sheet brokered deposit agreement notional investments.

We are looking for a Manager in Quality Engineering with a strong technology and solution delivery acumen who will be responsible for the successful design, development, and delivery of business intelligence and QA/QC solutions. One of the key initial responsibilities would be to develop and implement the quality engineering infrastructure for the net interest revenue and market risk forecasting projects. In addition, the individual would be:
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, business, and other stakeholders to understand various needs and implementation for Quality Assurance and Quality Controls
- Serving as a speaker and advocate for QA/QC best practices both internally and externally
- Designing and implementing automated QA/QC infrastructure and testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest)
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Python
- Creating comprehensive test plans, test cases, and defect reports
- Executing various testing types including unit, integration, and performance tests
- Collaborating with development teams to integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Ensuring system alignment to architecture policies and best practices; ensuring that process methodologies are followed in system development
- Engaging with core technology teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality quality and data engineering solutions
- Presenting on topics such as the importance of quality assurance, quality control, and quality management in software development
- Communicating issues clearly and document testing processes
- Conducting detailed log analysis and troubleshoot issues to drive continuous improvements in software quality
- Performing ETL design, development, data management and data analysis
- Creating data models, performance tuning, load plan etc. Making sure that deliverables fulfill both functional and non-functional requirements
- Planning, estimation, scheduling, prioritization, and coordination of technical activities related to system development
- Providing mentorship and hands-on coding support to the team
- Identifying opportunities for system optimization and system reuse
What you have
Required Skills:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology. Masters preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in development, support, and maintenance of QAQC software applications, demonstrating a proven ability to enhance quality controls processes
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python and other scripting languages
- Strong SQL knowledge, shell scripting and deep understanding of relational database concepts
- Strongly proficient in Python and SQL with hands-on experience in test automation
- Experience with Farnam or Control M
- Experience with GCP tools (GCS, BigQuery)
- Familiar and comfortable with agile development techniques
- Familiarity with SCM and DevOps tool suites and CI/CD best practices; examples include Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.), Bamboo, Jenkins, Concourse etc.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and no-technical audiences
- Critical-thinking and strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze and understand data
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with C# and T-SQL
- Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus.
- Experience with GCP compute tools (Vertex, Compute Engine, DataProc)
- Ability to interpret key trends and metrics and leverage them for actionable decisions.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills for interacting and throughout all levels of the organization.
