Duties: Deliver high throughput, low latency software solutions. Develop efficiently organized and designed

logic, developing robust easily maintainable software applications. Develop simple solutions to complex coding problems and collaborate with teams and leaders throughout the organization to develop best-in-class software products. Act as part of a Sprint-based Agile team to support the Company's existing Trading platform while building out new architecture. Design, build, and deploy software to support all of Schwab's trading. Job Location: Austin, TX

Salary: $155,709 to $214,700 per year

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

What you have

Job Requirements: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and 72 months of progressive, post-Bachelor's experience in a related occupation or a Master's degree and 48 months of experience. Experience must include the following: Develop test automation suite using MABL, ThunderClient, Parasoft SOA or Postman for Rest APIs and TOSCA Test Suite for API, Web and Windows applications, UFT and Selenium; Develop performance test scripts using Load Runner and Jmeter; Development of program to insert/ update and validate different databases including TOAD DB2, NoSQL, Aerospike, or SQL; Develop mainframe system/applications BlueZone Mainframe (z/OS), JCL, SPUFI, SPOOL, and CICS to create the batch processing of the trades; Rest Application Protocol Interface development using: C# or .Net; Develop applications that process messages using IBM MQ, ULTRA MQ, Rabbit MQ, or KAFKA MQ; Error/ Exception and Performance Monitoring of applications using SPLUNK or ITRS Monitoring; and Continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline using Atlassian tools including Bamboo, JIRA, Bitbucket, or Harness.
