This is a role within Client Reporting and responsible for product platforms such as brokerage statements, trade confirmations and trade confirmation reports. These products serve as critical touch points for our clients, provide information regarding their account portfolios and transactions, while also providing a great opportunity to directly impact the client experience, satisfaction, and loyalty, while supporting the strategic growth of the firm. The team supports all of Schwab's business enterprises and works with a wide range of internal stakeholders.

The Manager, Digital Product Management will serve as a Product Owner (PO) of Client Reporting platform applications. The Product Owner will deliver firm value by partnering with the Client Reporting Product Managers and Technology team to execute on platform vision and strategic roadmap. This role involves participation in design, requirement development, feature prioritization, scrum ceremonies, testing and release validation activities. The PO requires a mix of business and technical knowledge and should possess a good understanding of the securities industry, software development life cycle and agile practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have current/past Schwab systems knowledge/experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital product management.
  • 3+ years of Agile training and knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
  • 3+ years of experience working with technology scrum/project teams.
  • Subject-matter expert (SME): Possess a general understanding of Schwab's businesses, firm priorities, and end-users including relevant domains, products, and journeys and SME on your platform and industry to drive client service, rep experience, healthy platforms, and delivery excellence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post graduate degree is a plus.
  • FINRA Series 7 or 99 a plus.
  • Good knowledge of the Client Reporting Platform products.
  • Self-starter with outstanding organizational skills.
  • Experience working in a large organization with many stakeholders.
  • Comfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethic.
  • Able to communicate at the tactical level (status updates), and able to articulate a complex task or analysis to individuals at all levels of the company.
  • Good understanding of the product development lifecycle and agile practices to build exceptional experiences on a healthy and scalable platform.
  • Skilled in working with a cross-functional team, balancing trade-offs and re-prioritization as needed. Strong interpersonal skills, emotional maturity and sound decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience with project planning, dependencies management, and business analysis. Able to define use cases and business logic within user stories.
  • Good Influencing skills to be a partner who openly shares opinions and challenges the status quo to influence direction and solve problems to deliver the best platform capabilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills with internal and external customers.
  • Experience in the various facets of testing; test documentation, execution, and supporting others through the testing life cycle.
  • Experience in assisting in business requirement gathering and documentation.
  • Ability to effectively manage and lead projects within a cross functional project team (internal and external technology, operations, product, and business organizations)
  • Experience in the financial services industry and/or regulatory communication preferred.
  • Experience with any of the following tools and systems; Confluence, SharePoint, SQL, Opentext Exstream, JIRA, IBM Mainframe, Adobe suite.
  • Experience writing queries and extracting reporting from data warehouses and tableau.
  • Expert usage of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio and creating stakeholder presentations

In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
