As an International Financial Consultant Partner (FCP), you will directly help support multiple International FCs with their practice management, general client engagement, business development, and service support. International FCs are regionalized with specialty regions so your coverage will cross multiple jurisdictional rules and present unique challenges; both from supporting the FC but also from servicing and supporting clients. You will become a general expert in client sales support and also regularly engage with clients through proactive outreach.

Reports to the following company office locations in Orlando, Westlake, and Phoenix and is not available as fully remote. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Subject to Schwab's internal approach to workplace flexibility.

What you have

Required minimum skills and qualifications are:

  • Active FINRA Series 7, 66 (or 63 & 65) licenses
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years' direct international client experience and an equivalent level of knowledge of securities industry required
  • Strong knowledge of Schwab's international client rules, jurisdictional governance, product limitations and nuances with servicing non-US customers

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is required
  • Ability to problem-solve and handle multiple high-pressure client scenarios at one time
  • Expertise in problem resolution and ownership as well as the ability to display client empathy
  • College for Financial Planning designations (CFP, AAMS, AWMA, etc..) are preferred

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
