Your opportunity

'Operations Manager - Critical Environments & Engineering (CEE) is responsible to bring best-in-class workspaces, facilities and amenity services that align with Schwab's mission, values, and objectives. Operations Managers (OPS Manager) are responsible for the day-to-day Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) operations and maintenance of these systems. Partnering with the Technical Facility Manager (TFM), Engineering, Finance, Events, Security, and Desktop Technology teams to ensure timely and accurate performance of routine, Engineering service requests. Operations Managers are also gatekeepers and stewards of our Critical Environments and systems. This opportunity is located at our Austin, TX campus.

What you have

  • High school diploma or GED requires.
  • Bachelor of Science or Associates degrees from a four or two-year college or university with an emphasis on building science, electrical, mechanical, or technical education preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all applicable practices and techniques, laws, project controls and environmental regulations including safety.
  • A minimum of 10 years of related experience working on Class A building campus settings, or data centers with no less than 8 years critical facilities operations background.
