Director, Sales Operations - Retail Extension Program

The Sales Operations team is responsible for designing and implementing programs to deepen client relationships at scale across Retail sales channels. This role will serve as the program manager for the development and implementation of our next-generation Retail Extension strategy designed to grow and retain relationships with workplace investors. The Director, Retail Extension Program reports to the Director, Sales Operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the development and evolution of sales channel relationship models focused on the relationship and investment needs of workplace investors
  • Provide program leadership and channel support across retail extension initiatives, including day-to-day management, project plans, meeting planning, executive updates, stakeholder feedback and performance
  • Liaise with partners firm-wide to represent business needs and gather perspective and consultation from subject matters experts to inform the develop and seamless execution of solutions across the sales channel.
  • Serve as a change agent and manage the implementation of strategic programs across field audiences.

The ideal candidate will possess the following capabilities:

  • Detail-oriented with superior program management skills and the ability to multi-task and work efficiently to meet deadlines on an independent
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including being able to synthesize data, develop cohesive business cases and recommendations, influence partners and create and deliver compelling presentations to all levels including executives.
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships and working with cross-functional teams to design and deliver client experience initiatives, including evaluating opportunities and making recommendations based on the unique needs of the
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving
  • Proven experience working with change management principles.
  • Ability to gain the respect and support of senior leadership, partners and peers and lead a team of individuals in delivering against our Ability to inspire action and influence without authority.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years relevant experience
  • Prior or current experience with Schwab's retail processes and procedures required
  • 8+ years in program, management, field enablement, strategy, or client experience type roles
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in large-scale change management, transformation and integration initiatives.
  • Financial Services industry experience is required

In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
