The Treasury team is a team within our Finance department. We are responsible for balance sheet management strategy, portfolio and brokered deposit notional investment allocation decisions, balance sheet modeling and analytics, market risk management, ALM derivatives, and net interest revenue forecasting. The overall team manages fixed-income investments in several portfolios totaling approximately $500 billion in balance sheet assets and approximately $100 billion in off-balance-sheet brokered deposit agreement notional investments.

We are looking for a Data Scientist with a strong technology and solution delivery acumen who will be responsible for the successful design, development, and delivery of business intelligence solutions. One of the key initial responsibilities would be to develop the data engineering infrastructure for the net interest revenue and market risk forecasting projects.
What you have
Required Skills:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology. Masters preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in development, support, and maintenance of ETL and database applications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Python and object-oriented programming
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and relational database concepts
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with statically-typed language (C++, C#, Java, etc.)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD best practices; examples include Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, etc.), Bamboo, Jenkins, Terraform etc.
- Familiarity and comfortable with Agile development methodologies
- Critical-thinking and strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze and understand data.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform tools (BigQuery, Vertex, Compute Engine, Cloud Composer, DataProc)
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience with Control M or Farnam
- Front end development experience (Javascript, React, or similar)
- Ability to interpret key trends and metrics and leverage them for actionable decisions.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills for interacting and throughout all levels of the organization.
What you'll do:
In this role, the individual will:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows and database applications
- Write clean, maintainable code in Python and SQL
- Create reusable Python libraries, templates, and CI/CD hooks to standardize ETL and QA/QC across multiple projects
- Design, develop, and maintain a modular QA/QC framework for automated data validation, anomaly detection, and quality reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to codify data quality rules and build unit and integration‑level tests into ETL pipelines
- Build and optimize data models, performance tuning, and load strategies
- Implement DevOps best practices - including source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure high availability
- Identify opportunities for automation and system improvement
- Collaborate with technology, analytics, and business partners to gather requirements and deliver reliable data products
- Contribute to documentation of architecture, design decisions, and operational runbooks
- Plan, estimation, scheduling, prioritization, and coordination of technical activities related to system development.
- Ensure system alignment to architecture policies and best practices; ensure that process methodologies are followed in system development.
- Provide mentorship and hands-on coding support to the team.
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
