We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Enterprise Billing Platform Team. The team's goal is to build trust, credibility, and strong partnerships with all business lines, technology, and vendors. We set high standards while providing thoughtful and strategic guidance in daily interactions.

What you are good at

You will support the Enterprise Billing platform. This platform includes operational applications, processes, various downstream interfaces that are dependent on those systems, and a vendor supported billing application. You may support one or multiple of these platforms.

You will be responsible for providing Business Analyst and Product Owner expertise to meet business objectives; bring leadership, perspective, consistency of approach, and quality assurance to assigned projects. You will assist the Platform Strategy and Support Team with several key tasks including, but not limited to, the below items.

  • Work with the leadership team on annual business plans, quarterly roadmaps, and proposals
  • Partner with business owners to intake enhancement requests, document impact, and define and track detailed requirements
  • Manage platform backlog, aligning on business priority, and communicating progress updates to stakeholders
  • Represent the platform team with vendor relationships, backlog tracking and intake, coordinates release testing, and progress communication
  • Lead requirement writing using iterative Agile methodology in JIRA, defining acceptance criteria, partnering with technology, attending scrum meetings, and implementing technical enhancements
  • Collaborate with technology on backlog grooming, iteration planning and release planning
  • Perform technical certifications during internal and external production releases, outside of regular business hours
  • Support business team day-to-day platform questions and assist in production support triage, acting as a liaison with technology partners, and escalate as needed
  • Work with business partners to understand business processes, process flows, business needs and analyze pain points, identify viable solutions, and ultimately implement enhancements.
  • Independently manage and coordinate project tasks, leads analysis interviews, owns facilitation of discussions, and communications with impacted areas regarding project.
  • Investigate and validate reported issues to assess risk and exposure and ultimately provide input on prioritization
  • Train business users on new product features

What you have

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills with internal and external customers; experience and comfort presenting to stakeholders and leadership teams
  • Experience in the various facets of testing; test documentation, execution, and supporting others through the testing life cycle
  • Experience in assisting in business requirement gathering and documentation
  • Ability to effectively manage and lead projects within a cross functional project team (internal and external technology, operations, product, and business organizations)
  • Must be organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and other MS Office Products
  • 5+ years of Brokerage Operation and/or business analysis experience
  • Agile training and knowledge of JIRA and Confluence

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business Analysis experience with a billing function
  • BA/BS degree
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63
