As a Product Owner with SAM this role will be supporting the Managed Investing business group for Middle Office business functions. The team performs account management and maintenance for SMA strategies. You will play a critical role in our ongoing movement to support the implementation of our technology and production business platforms across the Managed Investing Middle Office business units. You will work closely with the lead Managed Investing Middle Office Product Owner and provide business technology leadership in these main subject areas for our Operations team.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Prioritizing a backlog supporting the Managed Investing business and scrum teams
- Prioritizing feature validation and workflow analysis as needed within key vendor systems
- Identifying high-level business needs through outreach to key business partners and build user stories associated with these requirements
- Communicating data and functional requirements to the SAM technology development teams
- Verifying that data feeds, load processes and exception management processes are built to meet business requirements
- Participating in meetings with key business and technology partners that oversee the roadmap of near- and long-term deliverables
- Validate and provide approval that user stories have been executed accurately against acceptance criteria
Production Business Process Oversight
- Defining the operating workflow for bringing all data and production elements into production as functions are incrementally released
- Collaborating with the Technology Support team to ensure their production processes and escalation procedures are in place prior to each release
Product Coordination and Support
- Coordinating with Wealth Asset Management Engineering and Vendor Management for critical production processes
- Working closely with SAM business continuity team to plan for key investment management processes across all Managed Investing Middle Office business units
- Collaborating with Project Management teams to provide initiative, timeline, and status updates on key projects
What you have
- Minimum 7 years' experience applying Agile Scrum Methodology; overall knowledge of asset management including portfolio management and trading systems and practices required
- Experience collaborating with technology teams and business partners to augment Middle Office operational workflows
- Experience representing data partners in the implementation of Portfolio Management, Research and Trading solutions
- Experience crafting and implementing investment processes, workflows and controls for managing Portfolio Management, Research and Trading processes
- Sufficient depth of experience to interact effectively with senior team technology and business partners via meetings, presentations and written reports
- A drive to maximize efficiency through exception-driven resolution processes
- A passion for learning and a spirit of continual self-improvement
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
