Your future duties and responsibilities:

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and API automation
frameworks
Familiarity with tools (Jenkins/GIT/Bitbucket) for continuous integration and
deployment (CI/CD) and automated testing tools such as selenium, Cucumber, Karate
On hands testing experience in Big Data/Hadoop preferred.
Proficiency in data analysis using complex SQL joins


Quality Assurance Expertise:

Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies, including
testing strategies for machine learning models and data pipelines.
Hands on experience on Test managers such as Jira- Jira Xray.
Hands on Quality Engineering experience in developing and executing test strategies
In depth knowledge of QE best practices, KPI reporting etc.,
Hands on experience in writing / analysing complex SQL queries
Hands on automation experience in python pandas, numpy libraries etc.,
Ability to take a project from scoping the requirements, build test plan, create test
cases and traceability
Experience in coordinating testing activities with onshore and offshore stakeholders
Excellent in defect management process
Work with developers to design specific testing strategies for features being developed
and automate them.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related IT field

10+ years of experience in Quality engineering.
Over 5+ years of experience working as a quality engineer in an Agile team.
Have experience in leading a small to large QE team (both onshore and offshore), drive
initiatives independently.
5+ years of test automation experience using Selenium and Cucumber.
Experience in managing code repositories and versions using Azure DevOps, GIT or SVN.
Experience developing API tests using Karate framework.
Experience developing tests using BDD frameworks.
4+ years of experience developing, maintaining & executing automated regression tests
for web and backend applications.
4+ years of experience writing SQL scripts.
Good understanding of Agile project management/ DevOps tools.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300 - $185,800.
