What you will be doing

The ServiceNow HRSD Product Owner serves as a functional and technical expert resource within HR IT with oversight and responsibility for driving enhanced performance and functionality of HRIS technology, ensuring the setup and configuration of ServiceNow, reporting, integration points, as well as the integrity of team member information. In addition, this role supports the HR business ensuring that the end-to-end process solution meets business, global and strategic requirements. In addition, the ServiceNow HRSD Product Owner is responsible for managing a team of HRIS analysts.

  • Manage, develop, and provide direction to assigned staff (including remote management).
  • Provide recommendations on HR technology strategies and ensuing tactics.
  • Stays up to date on new HR technology and complimentary solutions to support the business.
  • Maintain a global mindset when providing solutions with a focus on a positive team member experience.
  • Collaborates with the COEs to ensure that HR systems support new processes/changes to provide the optimal team member experience.
  • Oversee system administration for HR technology, which includes ServiceNow technology (telephony, HR case management, knowledge management, portal) and other Third-Party Systems including making recommendations on improving system performance and functionality.
  • Leads system integrations or system enhancement projects.
  • Partners with Stakeholders which may include HR, Finance, Audit, Legal, Payroll, team members, and vendors to determine strategic needs, defines functional/technical specifications, troubleshoot issues, and implement initiatives
  • Supports teams in identification, analysis and implementation planning of optimizing design, cleansing legacy data, and prioritizing conversion of integrated data.
  • Manages testing, creates and reviews specifications, reviews/manages the creation of test scenarios, and oversees testing of the system.
  • Manages deployment and testing of system patches/new releases and enhancements.
  • Guides Tier 2 Specialists to resolve complex technical issues raised by team members and managers.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

What your background should look like

  • Requires some training in fields such as business administration, computer science, information technology, human resources or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four (4) -year bachelor's degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Normally requires a minimum of ten (10) or more years directly related and progressively responsible experience; prior HR Technology experience required.
  • Prior Workday experience preferred
  • Prior experience within ServiceNow HRSD (human resources service delivery) - required
  • Ability to maintain a global mindset
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems, complex reporting tools and other Microsoft Office Suite products
  • High-level understanding of HR business functions/end-to end processes, strategic imperatives, and project management.
  • Demonstrated consultative skills and ability to effectively facilitate groups to consensus.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using leading-edge technology
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in support of our global population; ability to communicate with customers, associates, and management; solid teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership skills including the ability to manage remote and global team members

$118,000 - 181,720

This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
