The Team:
Our team is responsible for building the Celonis Process Management product, CPM.
CPM is the technology that enhances the capabilities of the Celonis platform, bringing world-class process mining and process management together in one home. Our customers are now able to not only mine their processes to identify opportunities and capture value, but also design their processes with a modern, AI-assisted process modeling solution.

The Role:
CPM is looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to spearhead our quality assurance activities and own the end to end testing approach. You will be required to oversee all aspects of software and product testing, which include developing test strategies, devising, documenting, implementing and executing test cases, creating or extending test automation frameworks and reviewing QA reports. To ensure success as a Senior QA engineer you should have extensive experience in testing and test automation, high-level problem-solving skills, a strong product understanding and customer focus. A top-notch senior QA engineer ensures the smooth running of QA processes and ultimately customer satisfaction.
The work you’ll do:
- Own the testing of end-to-end solutions: leading the testing design, implementation, execution, and quality sign off, ensuring that the product has a sufficient level of quality (functional and non-functional) before the launch.
- Meet and align with Product Managers, UX designers and Tech Leads to determine quality assurance parameters.
- Continuously improve and automate our testing processes (regression, load testing, new features) for all product components (backend, frontend, desktop applications).
- Document procedures, concepts, and share knowledge within and across teams.
- Implement testing procedures and oversee the QA process.
- Review Quality Assurance reports.
- Ensure the successful deployment of products into the market.
The qualifications you need:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Passion for clean and understandable code
- Deep knowledge of test automation and QA best practices.
- Experience in writing and setting up tests (integration and end-to-end tests)
- Ability to supervise and coach junior and mid-level colleagues
- Strong communication skills (English is a must)
- Experience with bug tracking and test repository software.
- 3+ years experience delivering robust test automation in Cypress/Selenium/Playwright or similar tools. Python and/or SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Complete understanding and command of API testing
- Experience with minimizing duplication of testing layers
- Experience with CI/CD processes.
