Job Summary

The Senior Revenue Analyst is responsible for reconciling and maintaining assigned general ledger accounts and financial processes. This role involves performing in-depth analytical reporting, identifying potential risks, and investigating anomalies to ensure accuracy and compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage gift card reconciliation, redemption tracking, and error resolution.
  • Review and process orphan transactions and exception transactions.
  • Conduct analytical and trend reporting on assigned accounts.
  • Reconcile customer refund checks and vendor security deposits.
  • Perform Datascape Receivable, DS Balance SKU, and Datascape Liability reconciliations.
  • Monitor check deposits and track returned checks.
  • Oversee B2B receivables ledger reconciliation.
  • Research and reconcile device trade-ins.
  • Analyze credit card funding and chargebacks.
  • Maintain merchant accounts, including setup, auditing, and closure.
  • Investigate Verizon dollar variances and reconcile sales orders.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate monthly work papers.
  • Mentor and train team members to enhance department knowledge and efficiency.
  • Serve as a backup to the department manager and supervisor as needed.
  • Participate in special projects or additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

 

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general ledger management.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 

Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.   Must be able to perform repetitious hand/eye movement, must be able to sit for long periods of time.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time hybrid position. Department hours are generally 8AM to 5PM, with some flexibility on work hours.

 

Travel

No travel is required for this position.

 

Education & Experience:

 

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Hands-on experience with general ledger reconciliation.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • Experience with Great Plains software.
  • Familiarity with paperless document management systems.
