We are seeking a highly skilled Associate AP Consultant to join our finance team. As an Associate AP Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable process as a subject matter expert in invoice processing, PO and accrual matching, payment processing, vendor master support, and/or Travel & Expense processing.

What you will do:
As a vital part of the Finance team, the Associate AP Consultant will play an important role in ensuring all aspects of the Accounts Payable Process are adhered to, as applicable.

  • Responsible for the timely processing of AP tasks, including but not limited to invoices/ check request processing, payment processing, PO and accrual matching, vendor master support, and Travel & Expense processing

  • Review and reconcile vendor statements; identify invoice discrepancies and partner with stakeholders and vendors to resolve

  • Research and resolve failures for conflicting invoices; analyze and recommend changes to the process and additional tools needed to achieve a higher match rate

  • Partner with team members to research data to manually match POs to invoices and answer inquiries

  • Proactively collaborate with internal and external partners to identify issues and provide guidance and direction on best solution or course of action

  • Ensure all processes are clearly documented and adhere to associated SOX controls

  • Engage in clear and professional communication with vendors and stakeholders

  • Work on special assignment/ projects as assigned

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and the first level of escalation for organization

What we expect of you:
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field OR 4 years of relevant AP, Credit, Accounting or Finance experience OR 4 years of CDW experience

  • Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably with a Fortune 200 organization

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and meet deadlines

  • Detail-oriented mindset with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders

  • Enterprise ERP System experience preferred
