The Role

Our internship program is crafted to Jumpstart your career in the dynamic field of cybersecurity! At our company, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with visionary leaders and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of security while contributing to critical business initiatives in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Security Intern, you will engage in the following activities:

• Assisting with Security Architecture & Engineering: This includes working on the design and implementation of secure systems, contributing to the development of security solutions, and collaborating on projects to enhance our security infrastructure.
• Supporting Application Security: You will help with securing applications through code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and the implementation of security best practices.
• Contributing to Security Governance, Risk, & Compliance: Participate in the evaluation of security policies and procedures, assist in risk assessments, and support compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to security standards.
  Assisting with Security Operations: Engage in daily security operations tasks such as monitoring, incident response, and analyzing security alerts to protect our infrastructure.

• Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Platforms
• Infrastructure as Code Security & Application Security Testing

• Intrusion Detection Systems & Intrusion Prevention Systems

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundational knowledge in cybersecurity (a degree in computer security or computer science) and a keen interest in security operations.
Proficiency in security tools is essential, and familiarity with cloud security is a plus.
A background in computer security or science or a related field is preferred, along with excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
Cyber Security Certifications are advantageous.
