Marketing Research Analyst Intern

Pay Rate/Hourly Range:

• The hourly range is $20.00 - $43.00 per hour.
• Pay is based on factors including school year, program of study, role responsibilities, etc.

The Role

The Marketing Research Analyst Intern will collaborate with and support CCC's industry analysts.

Throughout this internship, you will learn how to effectively identify and research key industry trends, analyze data and information, and curate insights for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Intern will be expected to learn and provide value in one (or more) of three areas:

Researching and developing insights and industry trends

• Acquire a cursory understanding of the markets CCC serves (clients) and CCC's products - how they provide value to our customers and what differentiates us from our competitors
• Develop a basic understanding of market factors that impact CCC's various client segments and how those segments interact with each other
• Research current events and isolate potentially disruptive or opportunistic trends
• Identify potential analysis (or other) threads to pursue and summarize initial findings

Data analysis

• Based on initial research, utilize Tableau and other business intelligence tools to develop analytical content
• Ensure analysis and reporting accuracy and integrity
• Collaborate with industry analysts and key stakeholders to understand and explain performance drivers and provide insights on key trends
• Designing presentation materials
• Design and develop presentation materials for clients leveraging insights and other industry trends

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree. Major agnostic.
• Strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and drive to identify and solve problems
• Comfort with ambiguity
• Ability to glean insights from all manners of information and sources
• Ability to research using the internet, identify new data or information sources, and to validate or triangulate (sometimes vague) results
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and similar tools
• Experience with Tableau nice to have but not required
• Experience working with large databases, querying, and aggregating data also desired but not required
• Strong communications skills
