About The Role:

As a CBRE Financial Model Developer, you will assist with the development and advancement of our financial valuation and modeling platform and tools. You'll partner with valuation professionals and team leaders to design and build exceptional financial models and associated client deliverables.

What You'll Do:

  • Design and develop models and appraisal report-writing tools under direction of the Product Manager that meet the requirements of team members and clients.
  • Perform requirements-gathering sessions, consolidate incoming enhancement requests, and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Act as project lead in the coordination of team members to complete specified projects.
  • Coordinate involvement of personnel from other departments and information technology groups to facilitate successful project implementations.
  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Develop and execute test plans to review the accuracy of models and additional tools.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of industry experience and education will be considered.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Familiarity with Valuation approaches and methodology ideal. Experience conducting financial analysis and designing financial models preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to develop practical solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • Advanced experience with MS Office Products (Excel, Access, Power Point, Word). Proficiency with VBA and/or scripting languages preferred. Ability to use query and report generation tools desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the VAS Financial Model Developer position is $90,000 annually and the maximum salary for the VAS Financial Model Developer position is $120,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
