About the role

Plans, implements, coordinates and leads all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management, utilities (clean & dirty), and people development programs for a Life Sciences/ Pharmaceutical campus.

What you'll do

  • Leads all facets of inspections and surveys, including energy audits and analysis, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, environmental compliance, and accessibility compliance., acquisition and third party surveys.
  • Supervises and reviews all technical operations to include system air balancing reports, boiler, chiller, cooling towers, clean steam, process water, and clean air systems; mechanical and electrical system noise and vibration control, CFC chiller replacement and conversions.
  • Develops and provides for ongoing improvement of preventive maintenance and engineering procedures, hazardous materials communications plan, indoor air quality programs, preventive maintenance programs, budget operating costs estimates and comparisons.
  • Coordinates implementation of programs to ensure compliance with life safety programs and procedures, domestic water quality control and water treatment programs to include environmental and safety compliance.
  • Designs and develops construction management including HVAC system comparisons and make appropriate recommendations to include HVAC systems and start up monitoring.
  • Evaluates and recommends building automation, energy management and automatic temperature control systems.
  • Perform value-engineering studies and evaluate contractor qualifications and recommendations.

What you'll need

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of five years experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and understanding of all applicable practices and techniques, laws, project controls and environmental regulations to include safety regulations.

Must require degreed Engineer.

Experience with technical, hard services within Engineering/ Facilities Management operations.
