As a CBRE Union Plumber, you will conduct general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and solving of plumbing, mechanical systems, and other distribution systems throughout a designated or group of facilities.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You'll Do:

  • Repair, install, replace, test, and solve the water and medical gas supply and distribution system including valves, fixtures, and outlets.
  • Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Maintain waste and vent lines in good operating condition using a plumber's snake, vacuum plunger, and jet washer.
  • Complete plumbing safety inspections and PMs on backflow devices.
  • Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.
  • Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.
  • Finish the required and assigned HSE training at a satisfactory level.
  • Take part in all HSE programs & activities as the need arises, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment.
  • Report any conditions which you feel could result in an accident or injury or stop work if required.
  • Follow a set procedure in the performance of repetitive tasks or job activities.
  • • Impact through methods, tasks, and duties which are clearly defined and followed with little to no discretion.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college program or technical school with 5 years of commercial experience.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to develop skills to perform basic activities in own job.
  • Proven track record to optimally communicate.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Social skills with an inquisitive mindset.
