About the role:

The Boiler Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all boiler and mechanical systems in a commercial real estate facility. The role ensures compliance with safety standards and regulations while providing optimal heating, ventilation, and cooling services to support the building's operations.

What you'll do:

• Operates and maintains the assigned facility and all related systems/components including the building automation system.

• Highly safety conscious to work in the following environments: extreme temperatures, steam, electrical, loud noise, heights

• Maintain and replace valves, filters, steam gauges, turbines, pumps, compressors, water lines, steam lines, piping and other related systems.

• Observe pressure, temperature and draft meters on panel to verify specified operation of automatic combustion control systems, feed water regulators, and burners.

• Performs tours of areas and/or equipment as directed by management and required under the contract specification.

• Performs service calls, diagnostic services, and incidental, minor, and major repairs as required.

• Perform preventive maintenance duties in accordance with NVE standards, building protocol, manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices. Including changing filters, cleaning coils, flushing condensers, punching tubes, greasing fan, pump, and motor bearings as required, inspecting, and adjusting belts, replacing motor bearings, aligning pulleys and shafts, monitor condenser, chilled, heating, and secondary water chemical treatment and its associated feed equipment, clean and maintain cooling towers, and perform annual inspections and other scheduled routines as directed.

• Perform repairs to plumbing fixtures (water closets, urinals, flush valve assemblies, lavatories, etc.)

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs of all equipment and systems outlined in the Employer's contract.

• Performs other duties as required or directed by management.

What you'll need:

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for

• High School diploma or GED completed vocational training, apprenticeship, and 4 years of commercial in-field experience.

• Full understanding of local codes, procedures, and specialized skills.

• 4 years' experience operating a Boiler

Require a valid driver's license.

• Licensed Stationary Operating Engineer DC 3rd or 6th Class license

• Certification for Boiler Operator

• Valid Driver's License

• Complete all required and assigned HSE training at a satisfactory level

• Follow all activity policies and procedures, including all HSE-related requirements at all times

• Participate in all HSE-related programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing and assessment, etc.

• Report any conditions which you feel could result in an accident or injury and / or stop work if required

Pay Disclaimer: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $28.00/hr and the maximum salary for this position is $35.95/hr. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
