About the Role

As a CBRE Sr. Warehouse Coordinator, you'll provide service and support to the warehouse by handling sophisticated shipping and receiving tasks.

This job is part of the Supply Chain function. They are responsible for improving the effectiveness of the organization's supply chain.

What You'll Do

Ensure accuracy and efficiency by verifying inbound shipments against bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, purchase orders, and other records.

Use your expertise in shipping procedures, routes, point pairs, and rates to determine the best method of shipment, except when specified by contracts.

Expertly assemble pallets to meet client requirements and securely pack items into containers/boxes using spacers, fillers, and protective padding to ensure safe delivery.

Thoroughly inspect and validate incoming shipments, rejecting damaged items, recording shortages, and coordinating with shippers to resolve issues. Ensure accuracy by verifying item quantities, types, and part numbers against purchase orders or contracts, and collaborate with job leads to correct any discrepancies and complete the receipt process.

Route items for MRO or inventory items in the facility using material handling equipment.

Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

Use forklift and hand truck to move, convey, or transfer shipments from trucks/shipping & receiving dock to staging areas.

What You'll Need

High School Diploma or GED with 2-3 years of job-related experience.

Forklift experience is required and certification maintained; candidates must demonstrate proficiency in operating forklifts safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment.

Physical requirements to include stooping, standing, climbing, and frequent lifting of a minimum of 50 lbs.

An established understanding of work routines and standards and applying skills and knowledge in a range of processes, procedures, and systems are required.

Requires intermediate problem-solving skills with the capacity to review and select solutions from available options without supervisory approval.

Ability to explain detailed and complicated information within the team in a clear and concise manner.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Strong organizational skills with a robust inquisitive mentality.

General math skills. Ability to calculate figures.
