About the Role:
As a Sr Payroll Tax Analyst, you'll be responsible for all functions relating to payroll tax reporting, payments, tax filings, and new tax jurisdictions utilizing ADP Payroll Tax Services for multiple EINs. CBRE operates in a multi-state environment so participating with all monthly, quarterly and year-end tax activities, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax authorities is a must.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze and reconcile all payroll taxes on a quarterly basis to include evaluating and resolving variances utilizing ADP SmartCompliance reports
- Review and resolve tax adjustments including creating and processing reversals/repost within the quarter or quarterly amendments with ADP after quarter end
- Prior knowledge and experience with ADP PQAA & Adjustment Worksheets
- Prepare, remit and file returns not supported by ADP Tax Services on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Reconciliation and management of incoming tax agency refunds coordinating backup and coding with G/L & A/R
- Audit tax setup and tax blocks related to VISAs & EADs
- Ability to research, analyze, and provide recommendations to tax related inquiries
- Assist with tax audits for mergers and acquisitions of tax elections and prior tax balances, as needed
- Participate with Quarter & Year End data reviews and resolution of findings partnering with the payroll team
- Support internal and external audits
- Provide support to payroll by resolving tax errors
- Support Payroll Tax Analysts, as needed
- Special Projects, as needed
- Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.

- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 2 - 4 years of experience with all aspects of payroll tax for US & Puerto Rico.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Multi-state payroll processing knowledge
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Ability to prioritize work in a fast pace and constantly changing environment.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, staff, customers, and vendors.
- ADP experience is highly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and expertise with all aspects of payroll tax.
- FPC or CPP a plus.
