About the Role

In this vital role, you will support the maintenance and operation of the building systems inside a client facility. As a Sr. Mechatronics and Robotics Technician you'll be a key leader in running a shift and providing guidance to fellow technicians and Control support partners.

What You'll Do

  • Repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
  • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
  • Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
  • Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.

• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 4+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.
  • Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and/or industrial electronics.
  • Ability to conduct preventative & procedure-based maintenance.
  • Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
  • 3+ years of work order management.
  • Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordingly.
  • Ability to solve problems and carry out general instructions in standard situations such as; routine maintenance, repairs, preventative measures, emergency responses, coordination, and safety compliance.
  • Ability to move up to 50lbs and physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs / ladders with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Previous vendor management experience.
  • Experience with robotic maintenance.
  • Experience with CMMS
  • Certification preferred in one or more of the following: electronic, electrical, mechanical, access control servers, PLCs, process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr Mechatronic & Robotics Tech position is $78,436.80 annually [or $37.71 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Sr Mechatronic & Robotics Tech position is $87,152.00 annually [or $41.90 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
