About the role!

Provides support services to facilitate the repair, maintenance, calibration, and certification of laboratory instrumentation. Responsible for administering repair, PM, and calibration work order requests, customer inquiries, and associated Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) Record. Ensures customer satisfaction with all work order requirements, following up on all requests, efficiently meeting and advancing the business needs, and working closely with all members of the wider team to provide a proactive and focused approach.

What you'll do

  • Liaises with staff regarding services required for installation, maintenance, moves, and relocations.
  • Supports the proposed items of instrumentation.
  • Acts as the first point of contact for all third-party contractors, ensuring that they have a valid EHS and GMP induction, a thorough risk assessment, and an official method statement and permit, prior to the commencement of work.
  • Using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), administers the closure manage work orders in compliance with procedures and practices. Keeps end users apprised of work order status and acts as a lead for the timely escalation of service request(s). Ensures CMMS records are updated accurately and reflects the current status of the equipment.
  • Ensures purchase order(s) are in place in conjunction with prior commencement of non-contract work.
  • Assists in audit preparation; retrieves documentation for inspection purposes.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in a scientific field of study or 2 - year degree, High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required and a minimum of years of related experience or equivalent work experience; pharmaceutical and/or GMP experience. Previous customer service or administration experience preferred.
