About the Role
We are seeking a highly talented and driven Senior Analyst to join our Strategy and Transformation Team based in New York City. This role offers an opportunity to work at the heart of strategy and transformative change within a leading real asset investment management firm. As a key contributor, you will help assess and execute strategic initiatives that align with the firm's growth objectives and respond to changing market dynamics.
In this role, you will apply rigorous data analysis to assess the firm's operational performance, evaluate market trends and support the design and execution of strategic initiatives alongside members of the Strategy and Transformation Team, contributing directly to the firm's growth and transformation agenda.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial and operational analysis, be able to distill complex data into actionable insights, focus on results and can tackle challenges with a pragmatic approach.
What you'll do
- Analyze data, formulate hypotheses, and develop actionable recommendations for improving operational performance
- Conduct scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to evaluate the impact of proposed changes on the firm's operations and financial performance
- Perform in-depth research on real estate industry trends, emerging strategies, competing firms, and competing offerings to inform operational improvements and potential growth strategies and to enhance the firm's competitive positioning
- Support the creation of long-term strategic plans and transformation road maps
- Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
- Assist in executing large scale transformation projects including business process improvements, technology implementations and organizational restructuring, to enhance operational efficiency and business growth
- Assist in the preparation of high-quality deliverables such as documents and presentations which present client recommendations
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand and evaluate growth opportunities, operational challenges, and market dynamics
- Work closely with the investment, asset management, and operations teams to ensure alignment on key strategic priorities and transformation efforts
- At the direction of leadership, build business cases and finance models for strategic and operational improvements, leveraging data to quantify benefits, costs, risks and potential outcomes for initiatives.

What you need
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Business
- Minimum 3 years' experience preferred in Investment Management, Finance, and/or Consulting
- Advanced in Excel and PowerPoint; proficiency in business intelligence tools is preferred (Power BI)
- Proficiency in data analytics and data structures; working knowledge of a programming language is a plus
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Results-oriented, and ability to perform well under pressure against tight deadlines
- Self-starter with the intellectual curiosity and desire to drive organizational change
- Team player mentality with the ability to effectively interact with multiple internal functions and stakeholders.

CBRE Investment Management carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $125,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $135,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE IM's applicable benefit program.
