About the Role
As a CBRE Senior Property Condition Assessor, you will prepare complex Property Condition Reports (PCR) to include cost estimates to remedy building deficiencies.
What You'll Do
- Prepare written reports and ensure they meet company and client protocols and accurately describe the asset.
- Interact regularly with client(s) to ensure that goals and objectives are established and achieved. Develop and implement action plans to correct variances. Anticipate and respond to the client's needs and concerns.
- Manage and lead project management staff in the market and ensure thorough staff understanding and implementation of operations, policies, and procedures.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to staff assigned to projects.
- Run large portfolios of projects.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate, timely, and complete reports to the client and company.
- May act as subject manager guide in area of expertise may include Seismic, ADA, MEP, or other specialties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommend staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, and corrective action. Plan and monitor appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepare and deliver performance appraisal for staff. Mentor and coach team members to further develop competencies. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.

What You'll Need
To perform this job successfully, an individual will need to perform each crucial duty satisfactorily. - Bachelors degree (BA/BS) in architecture or engineering.
- Minimum 8 years commercial building evaluation or commercial design experience with a general understanding of all building systems: site work, structural, building envelope, and MEP.
- Certification as either a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect preferred.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret business related documents and offer strong business solutions to clients. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, consultative and exceptional customer service skills and the ability to problem solve. Ability to respond to issues, complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor and/or management.
- Ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical clients.
- Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
- Advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite Products).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills. The position requires simultaneously running electronic deliverables for several ongoing assignments.
- Ability to motivate and negotiate with key employees and client groups to take desired action.
