About the role
As a CBRE Senior Project Manager, Architectural Design, you will partner with project management & architectural design partners to ensure timely and accurate production of design solutions for an assigned high-profile financial services client.
This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

Work closely with project management & architectural partners to ensure the timely and accurate production of design solutions that meet business objectives and vision. Understand all facets of project management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual real estate projects including planning, design, branding, construction, occupancy, and closeout.

Demonstrate capability to read, understand, and apply design standards to sophisticated documents affecting commercial real estate projects, including but not limited to agreements/contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys, and drawings.
Interface directly with clients and internal collaborators to define project requirements. Prepare design scope of work and project delivery resource requirements. Partner with internal resources and external architects to deliver projects on time and within a defined budget and scope.
Identify project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification processes; work with internal partners to conduct standard to complex request for proposals; complete bid analysis; lead evaluation interviews, and recommend resources to clients.
Work with external architectural partners (typically larger more experienced teams) providing project mentorship and direction to achieve project goals.
Attend project meetings and offer guidance as the needs arise.
Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and client requirements. Ensure project data integrity and documentation are accurate, timely, and coordinated.
Track the progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, and approved timelines. Report status and variances; craft plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule.
Implement change management routines to assess change requests, to resolve impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk. Make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders.
Identify complex project risks, lead constructability reviews, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
Demonstrate knowledge of projects & project management within the context of business results (business case, larger economic implications, business risk, etc.).
Ability to think creatively and develop business-specific concepts and solutions for design challenges.
Brainstorm and conceptualize a variety of possible experience scenarios and provides definition and application logic. Connect requirements across lines of business to ensure standards alignment and clear direction for partners and consultants.
Participate in planning, managing, and implementing of special programs providing design experience subject matter expertise (SME) as related to other business unit initiatives having an impact.
Establish a close team relationship with all project partners and lead multiple, broad, and large-scale initiatives.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with the company's RISE values. Lead 3rd party delivery resources/team (usually a larger more experienced team). Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating team members.

What you'll need
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from a College or University in a technical area of study and at least ten years of related experience or training. Experience with LEED & WELL, LEED AP & WELL AP certification preferred. Registered or unregistered architect, project manager or designer, licensed professions preferred.
- Licensed Architect or Interior Designer with space planning experience is preferred.
- Architecture/Design firm experience, retail bank/corporate office financial service design management experience is highly preferred.
- Proven experience leading multiple commercial real estate interior projects in varying stages simultaneously. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
- The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
- Ability to tackle unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Expert interpersonal skills with a sophisticated inquisitive mindset.
- Ability to report to client sites and projects to complete site visits.
- Knowledge of MS Project, leases, contracts, and construction practices. Strong presentation skills, both virtually and in person. Ability to use MS Office, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, and other technologies to effectively communicate with a broad and dispersed team.
- Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles and the ability to calculate complex figures.
- Capability to understand and align with developed forecasts, prepare budgets, and conduct financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Project Manager, Architectural Design position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Senior Project Manager, Architectural Design position is $170,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
