About the role
As a CBRE Senior Furniture Program Manager you will lead a team responsible for facilitating medium to large, complex, cross-functional projects and programs and the associated team!

This role will report to the Program Director and manages the service delivery of new accommodations and incidentals (BAU) furniture requests orders supporting the client's high profile and high volume furniture program for its domestic office and retail portfolio. Corporate furniture industry experience and knowledge is key to success in this role.

What you'll do

  • Primary furniture point of contact for furniture New Request processing team and escalation point for client
  • Guides site verification of existing furniture conditions and determine OEM fulfillment
  • Triage and provide furniture services to employees fulfilling Accommodations and Incidental (BAU) new furniture needs, using a defined network of LSPs/OEM's and following specifications determined by Design Governance and their A&D Partners
  • Identifies availability of furniture for redeployment
  • Advise on industry standards; complete and document accordingly
  • Advise on and lead to program SLA's
  • Lead quarterly vendor invoice audits
  • Partner with Fulfillment and Business Ops teams to continue to fine-tune the overall health and evolution of the Furniture Program
  • Coordinate and develop the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Lead all aspects of large cross-functional projects or programs from end to end using a formal process.
  • Ensure that all functions remain on schedule and any issues get raised and resolved so that the program gets completed on time.
  • Lead internal and external relationships in support of programs.
  • Work with key partners to develop solutions and guide project teams throughout delivery.
  • Build & distribute routine PMO reports, which include status reports and updated Gantt charts.
  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
  • Showcase expertise in own job field and in-depth knowledge of other job fields within the organization function.
  • Mentor others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to embrace a different point of view.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. PgMP or PMP certifications preferred
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.
  • Highly sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate somewhat complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
