About the Role:

As a CBRE Regional Facilities Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day functions of the team responsible for building operations and maintenance of facilities within a dedicated region. This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department timelines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients. Conduct regular meetings regarding regional facilities' performance.
  • Report on property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, facility audits, etc.
  • Develop policies and procedures to ensure that contract specifications are fulfilled.
  • Prepare presentations to obtain approval for projects.
  • Create strategic facility management objectives for clients. Generate capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
  • Inspect the facility periodically for quality assurance. Ensure facility procedures align with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own subject area and how own field integrates to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

What You'll Need:

  • Prefer a background in healthcare (ambulatory surgery centers), life sciences and/or critical environments.
  • Familiarity with healthcare accreditation preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Excellent leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job subject area and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial related calculations.
