About the Role:

As a CBRE Real Estate Manager, you will assist with managing the staff responsible for all functional aspects of a single property or portfolio of commercial, industrial, or healthcare properties for a client.

This job is part of the Property Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.

What you'll do

  • Respond to tenant needs, ensuring that administrative and building technical staff resolve problems promptly.
  • Ensure that services are provided by following policies, procedures, regulations and contractual obligations and standards.
  • Oversee periodic regular property inspection. Recommends and/or approves alterations, maintenance and reconditioning as needed. Contracts for and coordinates vendor services as the need arises.
  • Responsible fore lease and lease renewals.
  • Act as primary contact with property management to ensure that objectives are being met. Prepare timely, accurate and complete reports.
  • Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses. Forecast management plans and prepares monthly performance, explaining variances.
  • Collect rent and pay expenses in compliance with lease terms. Prepare all required legal notices. Recommend and coordinate legal action as required. Reviews and reconciles tenant rent and Common Area Maintenance (CAM) recovery charges.
  • Provide lease analysis for client review and approval. Document settlement of and notify affected parties.
  • Develop business relationships through membership and participations in professional, industry/trade and civic organizations.

What You'll Need:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Real Estate License required. CPM or RPA professional designation or candidacy preferred.

Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations. Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles and ability to conduct advanced financial analysis.
