About the role
The Project Manager you will provide consulting services to our client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Projects consist of interior office construction for approximately 70-80 SCIF properties throughout the US with an emphasis on corporate facilities in the Northern Virginia, Southern Maryland, and Washington, DC market.
This job is part of the Project Management function and responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. Role is remote with up to 20% day travel to local DMV corporate office facilities within 90 minutes of McLean, VA.
What you'll do
Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.

Interface directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
Direct the project delivery team by providing mentorship and direction to achieve goals.
Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances.
Identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.
Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of your job subject area and broad understanding of several job fields within the function.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
Work within broad guidelines and policies and explain difficult or sensitive information.
What you'll need
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
- General knowledge of leases, contracts and construction practices and the ability to read architectural drawings.
- Experience leading SCIF construction projects is highly desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Project
- Interpersonal skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Project Manager position is $115,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Project Manager position is $135,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
