About the role

We at CBRE are currently seeking a Project Management to join the Construction Project Services team in Mid West area. This can be remote but the candidate must be within general region. This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. Strong communication skills and ability to work with a client is a must!

What you'll do

  • Lead all areas of project management for unusual real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout. This can include tenant improvement, refresh, or ground up buildings.
  • Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification.
  • Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements.
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated.
  • Advise the team by providing mentorship and direction to achieve goals.
  • Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Supervise the progress of each project and report status and variances.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
