About the role

CBRE is seeking a Project Manager with a strong background in construction and expertise in marketing and architectural design to oversee real estate projects for a major telecommunications' client. This role involves collaborating closely with the client to define project scope, deliverables, budgets, schedules, and quality control. You will select resources from pre-approved lists, evaluate proposals, and make recommendations while ensuring compliance with company and client standards for documentation and data integrity. As a proactive leader, you'll guide the project team, develop action plans, and monitor progress, all while identifying risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

  • Manage all areas of project management for individual real estate projects, incorporating marketing strategies and architectural design throughout the phases of planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to ensure all project elements are well-prepared, including scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates, budget, work plan schedule, milestones, quality control, and risk identification, with a focus on integrating marketing and design considerations.
  • Define project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the qualification process, leading the request for proposals, conducting bid evaluations, and recommending the best resources to clients while considering marketing objectives and architectural vision.
  • Interpret construction blueprints to align project execution with design specifications and marketing goals.
  • Implement project documentation governance that meets both company and client requirements, ensuring alignment with marketing and architectural standards.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in project documentation, coordinating timely updates across all project facets, including marketing and design.
  • Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to meet goals, emphasizing the integration of marketing initiatives and architectural design.
  • Develop action plans to achieve objectives within budget and schedule, tracking each project's progress while reporting status and variances related to both construction and design aspects.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify potential project threats and develop risk mitigation plans, implementing strategies to minimize risks and protect marketing and architectural interests.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience in Construction. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
  • Background in Construction required
