About the Role:
As a CBRE Procurement Consultant, you will provide strategy and direction to the team that designs, evaluates, and provide reports on the collection of data related to the sourcing, contracting, management, and performance of suppliers and vendors.

This job is part of the Procurement function. They are responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods, services, or raw materials from vendors and suppliers.
What You'll Do:

  • Develop, plan, organize and put in place contracting and procurement strategies and programs based on the team's research. Present results of reports along with their relative impacts to the business to management.
  • Assist with the management of the RFP process, solution selection, and negotiations. Manage the supplier/contractor certification process.
  • Prepare and maintain contracts with local and regional service providers under company standards.
  • Partner with Finance to outline potential value and ROI for proposed initiatives and rack results.
  • Take part in projects within the procurement space, as needed. Provide advice on compliance with public contracts regulations and legislative requirements during project delivery.
  • Work with service providers, multi-year contract management and playing key governance roles with outsourced vendors.
  • Serve as point of contact for management outside of procurement solutions.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
  • Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams.
  • Work within broad guidelines and policies.
  • Explain difficult or sensitive information.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M. certifications or eligibility, preferred.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
