About the Role:

As a CBRE Occupancy Planning Sr. Manager, you will be delivering expertise in occupancy management to optimize facility operations, enhance strategic planning, and deliver integrated solutions tailored to the unique needs of the client. As a consultant, your services are designed to inspire effective space utilization and support seamless delivery. This is a consulting project, 6-month term with option to extend.

This job is part of the Moves, Additions and Changes function. They are responsible for building space design, construction, and moving services.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the development of site-level strategies to achieve desired occupancy goals and objectives, incorporating data analysis and industry benchmarking.
  • Research and implement new processes and technology to improve operational efficiency.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
  • Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.
  • Develop strategic occupancy plans aligned with Buyer's objectives and long-term goals.
  • Prepare occupancy analyses comparing space requirements and propose actionable recommendations in a business case.
  • Provide space programming solutions, gathering and documenting occupancy requirements, including headcount and location drivers.
  • Deliver tactical space planning, including high-level test fits and migration planning to align portfolio needs.
  • Provide training and support to Buyer's staff to enable successful adoption of occupancy management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with standardized processes, policies, and procedures documented in the Account Playbook.
  • Regularly communicate progress and provide updates to client's designated representatives.
  • Support client in developing new methodologies for strategic occupancy planning and Master Planning.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to own the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job
  • discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
