About the Role

The Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program offers an extensive paid training in the Maintenance Technical field. Participants seeking an exciting career as a Maintenance or Controls Technician gain valuable skills through a combination of 12 weeks of classroom instruction and on-the-job learning that prepares them to join our account for a world-class leader.

What You'll Do

  • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
  • Solve electrical and mechanical issues related to all material handling equipment, including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
  • Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
  • Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
  • Track and store department inventory.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.

• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to attend a 12-week in person paid training at a designated training provider.
  • Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages.
    • Experience using powered or non-powered hand tools.

    CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The salary for the Mechatronic Apprentice (MRA) position is $37,440.00 annually [or $18.00 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
